Mrs. Rodgers sixth grade science class has been learning about Newton's Laws of Motion. Scholars observed inertia in some really cool ways, such as: balancing pennies on their elbows and catching them before gravity pulled them to the floor! AWESOME!!! They also had the opportunity to construct rocket balloons with Mrs. Belew's class to perform Newton's Third Law of Motion, "for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." This is a really great unit for hands-on learning! Students love it!
