Yesterday, Beebe Middle School welcomed award winning Arkansas Author James Babb to our school. Mr. Babb, who was once a reluctant reader himself, engaged wonderfully with our scholars. He told them about his books and about his writing experience. Not only did he just talk about his books, he had props and real life stories about how he did his research for the books. He also took time to answer any question the students asked. The students were engaged and enjoyed visiting with him.
\r\nMr. Babb writes historical fiction books. His current books are The Devil’s Backbone, The Devil’s Trap, and The Devil’s Den. These books are set in Arkansas in the area of The Devil’s Backbone mountain ridge just south of Fort Smith. His books are engaging and action packed.
