In Mrs. Rodgers sixth grade science class, we are in our Life Science unit!! We have studied cells, levels of organization, and now we are learning about the human body! We are currently learning about the respiratory system, its organs, and function. Our students were able to measure their lung capacity as an introduction to the respiratory system. This week the scholars were able to close out the study by building their very own lung model! This gave the students an opportunity to see how important our diaphragm is to our respiratory system and how it works, very closely, with the lungs!! SUPER COOL LEARNING!!!
