We have had a great 8 weeks in math and science.  In math, we completed a unit on adding and subtracting fractions.  We are now working with decimals and place value.\r\n

In science, we are completing our unit on matter.  We have investigated properties of matter, and we explored the states of matter.  Scholars participated in a mystery powder lab, and they made s’mores to learn about the differences in physical and chemical changes.\r\n

During enrichment, we had the opportunity to work on programming with the Lego EV3 Mindstorm kits.  \r\n
