Mrs. Bledsoe’s literacy class has been studying literary figurative language, determining their meanings and usage in narrative stories. Using a graphic organizer, students have collected definitions, examples and illustrations for similes, metaphors, onomatopoeias, idioms, hyperboles, alliterations, and oxymorons. These booklets will come in handy for our narrative writing unit coming up in October.
